Currently, the only information available is on the official website of Dune: Awakening. As a survival MMO, the plot and story details seem to be under wraps and may not play an important role. However, we do know that the game will take place in Arrakis, and players will have the option of creating their own unique characters in the Dune universe, shaping their own journey.
As of the new footage, you will begin as an anonymous prisoner on Arrakis, with full customization options, including your background. After your ship crashes on the planet, you will be able to write your own story.

As a survival game, Dune: Awakening blends the crafting aspects of the genre with the social features of a large-scale MMO, allowing thousands of players to coexist simultaneously.
You will construct shelters for sandstorms, maintain your stillsuit, and prepare to explore deeper into the desert. However, sandworms will always pose a threat.
