Later, he enrolled in Cincinnati in 2016 and played as a freshman from 2016 to 2017. There he played in 35 games by averaging 8.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steals in 19.1 minutes. This led him to be named as The American’s All-Rookie Team and selected as The American’s Co-Sixth Man of the Year with SMU‘s Ben Emelogu.

Later, from 2017 to 2018, Jarron played as a sophomore. He had 36 games, averaging 11.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.0 steals in 28.9 minutes. He was ranked second on the team for averaging 14.0 points during five postseason games.
