SOULM8TE: Geoffrey Short/Universal Pictures has cast the star of Universal SOULM8TE, a new film set in the M3GAN universe.
The lead role of Lily Sullivan in the upcoming film “SOULM8TE” will be played by her. In “SOULM8TE,” an AI robot is purchased by a man to cope with the passing of his wife. It is a 1990’s erotic thriller with a technological element. The android is meant to be his new companion, but he transforms her from a harmless lovebot into a dangerous soulmate.
She is best known for her role as Beth Bixler in Evil Dead Rise. She has also appeared in Monolith, I Met a Girl, and Picnic at Hanging Rock.
It was announced in June that SOUL88TE was the first spinoff from Atomic Monster and Blumhouse’s M3GAN movie. Kate Dolan, who directed You Are Not My Mother, will direct SOUL88TE. Dolan rewrote Rafael Jordan’s original script based on the story by Jordan, James Wan, and Ingrid Bisu.
SOULM8TE is produced by Wan and Blum, with Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Ingrid Bisu, and Alayna Glasthal as executive producers.
With a budget of $ 2 million, M3GAN was a movie that brought audiences into contact with an AI killer robot in January 2023. With its success and positive reviews, M3GAN 2.0 is scheduled to premiere in theaters on June 27, 2025. Allison Williams and Violet McGraw will return for the sequel.
On January 2, 2026, SOULM8TE will be released in theaters.
