Terminator survival: The early access period for Terminator: Survivors has been delayed to 2025, which means resource gathering in the Terminator universe by October will be postponed. Nacon announced the delay on Monday.
Originally scheduled for October 24, the Steam early access release has been delayed due to the developers’ need for more time to ensure the game meets expectations.
At Nacon’s 2022 showcase, Terminator: Survivors was revealed as a survival game within the Terminator universe, but received a cinematic trailer at its 2024 presentation.
This narrative unfolds post-Judgment Day, after Skynet’s rise, but before John Connor’s leadership. Players explore an open world avoiding machines and humans.
Fans will have the opportunity to discover the world’s history with characters during this time period, according to an FAQ. It has also been confirmed that there will be offline co-op for groups of up to four players as well as single-player.
Despite revealing artwork and basic descriptions of resource gathering, Nacon hasn’t yet revealed gameplay or machine designs.
During Summer Game Fest 2024, Unbroken Studios announced the release date for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, a Warner Bros. Games portkey title.
This is WB’s second Harry Potter game in a year. Their most recent, Hogwarts Legacy, received mixed reviews on storyline, open world, combat, and J.K. Rowling’s controversial viewpoints.

Playing video games: Terminator survival
This weekend there will be new games trailers and content at Summer Games Fest and other gaming showcases. Just a reminder to not get too caught up in the new announcements and remember that good games have just recently launched. While it can feel long to wait for new console games, Steam always releases new games.
Three new Steam releases worth checking out this weekend if you’re looking for a game to play. First, there is a retro platformer with a fun challenge. Secondly, there is an online sandbox survival game that is gaining popularity in early access. Finally, there is a modern asymmetrical survival horror game inspired by an ’80s sci-fi film.
New video games typically dominate the news during June over launch announcements. Despite that, there are many exciting releases to look forward to this month, especially those that expand on existing games such as Elden Ring and Destiny 2. A fresh start is also being given to Shin Megami Tensei V, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, and Monster Hunter Stories.
In case you can take a break from all the new reveals this month, I have listed some games to keep an eye on. Check out Digital Trends’ PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch upcoming game lists.
