The Yellowstone spinoff will star Michelle Pfeiffer, and its title has been revealed.
After much speculation, 20th Century Fox has been confirmed.
In the new series ‘The Madison’, which is created by Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan and produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, Pfeiffer will star and executive produce. An examination of grief and human connection is depicted in the show about a New York City family living in central Montana’s Madison River Valley.
According to Chris McCarthy, Michelle Pfeiffer has been selected to lead The Madison, the latest spinoff in the Yellowstone universe created by Taylor Sheridan. After previous spinoffs exploring the Dutton family in the past, The Madison is the first spinoff set in the present day.
A three-time Oscar nominee, Pfeiffer recently played Janet Van Dyne in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. She will appear on television for the first time since 2022 in The First Lady as Betty Ford.
Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, and Patrick J. Adams are all in talks for The Madison, according to TVLine. As a result of the tragic death of her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash, wealthy matriarch Stacy Clyburn and her family move to Montana from New York City.
There has yet to be confirmation of Russell and Adams’ participation in the spinoff.
On Sunday, November 10, 2024, Paramount Network will broadcast Yellowstone season 5, part 2.
